Read MoreTimizzer.com - The Brazilian government has released a plan on Monday in São Paulo to stimulate the technology through an investment of US$ 250 billion on startups until 2015. The program, called TI Maior(Major IT) or Strategic Program for Softwares and Services of TI, has a target of 900,000 new jobs in the sector and to double the revenue of software developers. A training for 50,000 professionals will be sponsored by the government. The move is part of Brazil’s National Strategy to Science, Technology, and Innovation.
The investment for each new company will not be over US$ 100,000. About 150 startups will benefit by the new program…
